Miracle
I am TOTALLY obsessed with this beautiful song by Tom Baxter called Miracle. It was used as the closing music for the BBC 2008 Olympic coverage – and it just perfect – the crescendo in the middle is just heart breaking. I totally have the post Olympic blues – and I wasn’t even there! Madness!
Miracle
It’s slow, falling in love again.
How can you pretend?
You’re so scared of rushing in and risking everything.
You’re hanging on a prayer.
So, you’re looking for a miracle to make something happen.
It’s slow, when you’re looking for a miracle, to make something happen.
Life, is flashing before our eyes, like lullabies that end, just in that moment when you realise they’re gone.
You know that’s wrong!
So, if you’re looking for a miracle, let’s make something happen.
It’s slow, when you’re looking for a miracle to make something happen.
Close your eyes, we’re drifting into space again.
We’re satellites.
And our dreams are made of this.
So, if you’re looking for a miracle, let’s make something happen.
It’s slow, when you’re looking for a miracle to make something happen.
Let’s make something happen!
It’s slow falling in love again.
How can we pretend?
