Regret the Error has released their annual roundup of media errors and corrections for 2008. The absurd corrections are always the best:
We have been asked to point out that Stuart Kennedy, of Flat E, 38 Don Street, Aberdeen, who appeared at Peterhead Sheriff Court on Monday, had 316 pink, frilly garters confiscated not 316 pink, frilly knickers.

I will have to look out a few of my old efforts for a laugh! I used to have all the files somewhere, I am pretty good at keeping these things, or used to be.
One funny thing, I used to go by the moniker BrucieWeb, and a Google of that term still brings up my Flickr page and some NowPublic stuff I’ve done. Not much competition for that phrase, perhaps I should reclaim it?

I love the pomp of this day. I saw it quite often when I was at the Royal Society, and last year me and my folks stood and watched it on the Mall.
